Tip nยฐ28 : The menopause (1st part)

In our life as women, there is a transition period ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ which is often delicate ๐Ÿ˜ฌ and sometimes even a little taboo ๐Ÿ™„. Some women live it very well and for others it's a real hell ๐Ÿ˜ต ๐Ÿ’ซ. Today I'm going to talk about a big topic: MENOPAUSE. So vast that I'm going to need two tips to be able to process it, otherwise it's a book ๐Ÿ“– that I risk writing ๐Ÿ˜…! ๐Ÿ™Œ To begin with, it is necessary to make things clear ๐Ÿ™Œ: menopause is not a disease but a normal passage in the life of all women โ—

We speak of menopause when menstruation has been absent for at least a year. It is the consequence of the stoppage of the functioning of the ovaries which no longer produce hormones. This change of state rarely happens overnight, most often the cycle begins to 'mess up' ๐Ÿฅบ, the periods become irregular, are more abundant or even hemorrhagic ๐Ÿ˜ฃ. This 'bazaar' is the consequence of a more or less important hormonal imbalance ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. Some women go through this period 'like a letter to the post' ๐Ÿ“ฎ but for many others it's much more complicated and many inconveniences can occur, some being sometimes terribly disabling ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. And as if that weren't enough, it can last for years ๐Ÿ˜ฑ! Hot flashes ๐Ÿ”ฅ, weight gain โš–๏ธ, sleep problems ๐Ÿ˜ด, mood swings ๐Ÿ˜ซ, fatigue ๐Ÿ˜ž, frequent urination ๐Ÿ˜ฅ, fickle memory ๐Ÿคฏ, joint pain ๐Ÿฅบ, palpitations ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ, changes in skin, hair and/or nails, vaginal dryness, low libido, dizziness ๐ŸŒ€, blood circulation disorders ๐Ÿฉธ not to mention bleeding periods ๐Ÿฉธ๐Ÿฉธ๐Ÿฉธ accompanied by a significant premenstrual syndrome ๐Ÿ™ˆ. Here is an overview, certainly not exhaustive, of the different problems that can arise when your hormones are crazy ๐Ÿคช! It's not very folichon ๐Ÿ˜ณ and courage is needed, sometimes a lot โ— But we are here to give solutions, right โ“ โœ… Beforehand, three points deserve special attention:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Weight gain โš–๏ธ It is normal to gain a few pounds in the abdominal area ... yes, yes. โ—As surprising as it may seem, this phenomenon is of great use ๐Ÿ‘. Even if your ovaries decide it's time for them to pack their bags ๐Ÿ‘œ and go on vacation ๐Ÿ–๏ธ, they don't have exclusive hormonal secretion ๐Ÿ˜‰. You have two small glands, the adrenals, located just above your kidneys, which continue to make hormones, and these are transformed into estrogens ๐Ÿ‘Œ (female hormones). Guess where โ“โ“โ“ In this little bead at the level of the belly โ— It therefore deserves all your indulgence and kindness because it does you great service and protects you ๐Ÿ˜‰. This is one of the reasons why draconian diets are totally contraindicated ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™€๏ธ during this period and during any other period for that matter ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™€๏ธ! Forget diets โ— Their long-term effectiveness is less than 5% anyway!!! All that for that โ“ It's NO โ— It is therefore better to have a few extra pounds than too few, the body will age less quickly ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. It is true that at menopause, the metabolism slows down ๐Ÿ“‰ somewhat and weight gain is sometimes much more important . Food plays a key role here ๐Ÿฅ‡, not only to avoid violent arguments with your balance ๐Ÿคฌ but above all to reduce the intensity of all the symptoms associated with this transition phase. It's also true that it's easier said than done because when you're down โ˜น๏ธ, you don't really rush on vegetables ๐Ÿฅ—๐Ÿ™„. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Hot flashes ๐Ÿฅต Stopping periods deprives the body of an important elimination mechanism ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ. Hot flashes are there to take over in a way, they represent an ingenious replacement physiological mechanism to eliminate toxins ๐Ÿšฎ. They are therefore very useful. The more the body will be overloaded with toxins (stress, diet, weight, and everything else... life ๐Ÿ˜‰!), the more disabling the hot flashes will be ๐Ÿฅต ๐Ÿฅต ๐Ÿฅต . The goal is therefore not to eliminate them completely but to reduce their intensity . Waking up at night in your bed feeling like you're in your bath ๐Ÿ› ... or in the shower ๐Ÿšฟ ... I'll let you choose ... or feel a few light 'vapours' from time to time โ™จ๏ธ or hot shots, it's not the same thing at all โ— ๐Ÿ‘‰ Thyroid At menopause it can weaken and become a little lazy ๐Ÿ˜‘. My advice: during a blood test always ask to check it ๐Ÿ‘. Which brings us to the second part of this article: what to do โ€˜if you donโ€™t know what to do anymoreโ€™ โ“ Well, that's what we'll see next time ๐Ÿ˜‰. I wish you a beautiful day ๐ŸŒˆ, I say โœจโœจโœจโœจ Miam la Vie โœจโœจโœจ to all the women and I can't wait to see you soon ๐Ÿค—.
