Tip n°64 : To start 2026 differently

Here we are… at the end of the year… already.

One cycle ends 🌀 and a new one begins soon.

This will be the last tip of the year… and what's more, it's not even a tip 🙃.

It's more of a message I'm sending you today… a sharing… a few thoughts 💭.

repas équilibré

Time ⌛️.

This fourth dimension, so present in our lives and yet… sometimes so malleable, variable, subjective 🧐…

Let's be frank: today, we're all running a little, or even a lot, after time.

It slips through our fingers, we often desperately need it, and we feel like we never have enough 🤯.

I don't have time.

So, I propose an exercise…

You don't have time? Yes, you do! ❗️

Two minutes, we all have two minutes 😉.

More than an exercise, it's an experience…

An experience of nothing, for 120 seconds.

120 Seconds of Nothing *

“Take a watch, a clock, or a stopwatch, ideally with hands so you can see the second hand moving. For 2 minutes, you will follow the movement of this second hand, or the change of seconds if you are using a digital clock.

One second after the other, for a total of 120 times.

Just be an observer and do nothing else, not even count.

If thoughts arise, bring your attention back to the second hand, thus focusing your concentration.”

Go ahead… try this experiment 👩‍🔬.

… Exercise in progress …

We can all agree: 120 seconds can seem long… very long, especially when we aren't used to taking breaks, let alone switching our brains off 🙄.

Those seemingly endless 120 seconds can sometimes even annoy us, irritate us, and become downright unpleasant 😖.

And yet…

During those 120 seconds, you stepped out of autopilot mode, the mode in which we mostly live like little robots 🤖, to experience those two minutes consciously… or almost (I'm curious to know what you were thinking during those two minutes 🤔⁉️).

For some, it's easier than for others, of course.

There is indeed a kind of unconsciousness about the passage of time…

But it does pass. Always.

And it is our most precious possession 🤗.

So, getting back to the end of this cycle, and this umpteenth new year that has almost arrived… or rather, its first day… let's ask ourselves this question:

Will I do the same… or not?

Want an example?

Here's one, among many:

What's the first thing you do in the morning, right after waking up?

Let's leave aside going to the bathroom and getting a glass of water…

Do you reach for that object of misfortune 🤳… (just kidding)… which, by the way, probably spent the night next to you on your nightstand?

I turn on my phone.

That's what I did for years 🙈.

What if, this year, we tried something else? Just a few minutes without a screen 😅.

Those first few minutes with something else 🌱.

With your breath 🌬️. Yes, breath is life.

Breathing with gratitude for being alive. Yes, a moment to feel this life force, here and now, before the world starts talking too loudly 🗯️.

Two minutes can sometimes be enough to completely change the mood of your day 🌈.

And if you repeat these two minutes several times a day, like a new impetus, a new habit, perhaps, over time, these little conscious pauses will allow you to gently change the way you experience time ⏳.

Something to ponder 😌… literally.

I'm going to reflect on what I want to keep, what I decide to do the same with, and what I'll choose to change, delete, modify… evolve 🤔.

Becoming aware of the magic of the moment 🪄, of the ephemeral nature of this precious moment, unique because it's different every time.

It's in this moment, and only then, that we can truly savor the beauty of Life 🤩.

Whatever you wish for in 2026, well, I wish it for you in turn 😘.

In joy, sharing, light, giving, and above all, in Love ♥️.

With full awareness, with full presence 💫.

May 2026 hold delightful surprises for you that will make your eyes widen in wonder, like those of children 😲.

You are precious and dear to my heart, I wanted to tell you that too 🤗.

From the bottom of my heart, all my best wishes and warmest thoughts for this new year.

🎊 HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎊

PS: I couldn't finish without giving you some tips for maintaining balance, especially with food, during this time of abundance 😬.

So, see you at tip #39
