Yes, there are indeed protocols 📋, relatively uniform, with their recommendations, guidelines, and standard prescriptions.
These protocols are designed to treat diseases.
But, when it comes to health, it's primarily about patients 🤒.
Two patients with the same disease don't necessarily have the same needs... and don't necessarily need the same treatment 💊.
As J.R. Dos Santos reminds us in his excellent book Immortal:
"One of the fundamental problems with traditional medicine is that it presents standard solutions for every disease."
Guidelines are a useful starting point, certainly. But they should only be a beginning.
Applied uniformly, they miss the point: the individuality of the patient.
No patient is "standard."
Like a tailor 🧵 who adjusts his client's clothing to the millimeter, the doctor 👩⚕️ adapts the treatment to the unique person in front of him.
True medicine is that which listens, modifies, and adapts 😌.
Because, ultimately, there isn't one solution for every illness...
There is a treatment path for every patient 👣👣👣.
I wish you a wonderful week, in health, and aware of our wonderful uniqueness 😇.
✨✨✨ MIAM, MIAM, MIAM ✨✨✨ la Vie - oh yes, it's good ❗️- to you all 🤗.
