How beautifully put! ❗️
A paradox stated with humor 😜, which perfectly sums up what our relationship with our cell phones can become 📱
Let's be clear: this tool is indeed useful. It has even profoundly transformed our lives.
Useful, yes… provided it stays in its place, that is, that of a tool 😉
However, today, it sometimes tends to become a real object of alienation 🫨
When our phones were tethered ☎️, we couldn't take them everywhere. And above all, we weren't constantly reachable.
Before, they were attached to the wall by a wire.
Today there's no wire… but it's we who are attached to our phones 🤳
In the past, the phone stayed quietly in its corner.
Today, it follows us everywhere, a bit like a little dog on a leash 🦮
Notifications, the expectation of immediate responses, geolocation…
This freedom—on the surface—has gradually transformed into an invisible constraint, a constant, almost reflexive urgency.
Unless we take back control.
Unless we establish a little discipline, by learning to alternate between being connected and disconnected.
Easy? Definitely not.
But freedom is never a given 😉
It requires being chosen, again and again…
I wish you a wonderful week, with or without your phone, but… free 🕊️
See you next week with … ✨✨✨ MIAM la Vie ✨✨✨
