Yes, difference can be scary 😱 because it confronts us with the unknown: what doesn't fit into our frame of reference can seem threatening 😨… ouch, ouch, ouch ❗️

And yet… isn't it precisely this difference that makes humanity so rich ❓

If we were all the same… how boring 🥱❗️

Often, it's not so much the difference itself that frightens us, but what we don't understand… yet 🧐.

And when we don't understand, or don't know, what do we sometimes do? We judge, we criticize 🤨.

It is in this sense that ignorance creates a void that we easily fill with fears, prejudices, or distance.

But when we open our hearts ♥️, connection and empathy take root, and what seemed foreign simply becomes… human 🤗.

The light emanating from an open heart illuminates this strange unknown… and it is at that moment that we rediscover our beautiful humanity 😌.

This week, let's celebrate difference.

It is what enriches our lives… too.
