Forgiving doesn't mean erasing what happened.
Forgiveness also doesn't mean forgetting what was.
Forgiveness doesn't mean burying the hatchet and never speaking of it again.
There are things that can never be forgotten and that, for some wounds, will leave lifelong scars, with which we will learn to live.
Some of these scars may even enhance our present 💫, but not always…
Forgiving means freeing ourselves from the ties of the past 🕊️
Forgiveness gives us space to move forward, to breathe, to rebuild.
Forgiveness doesn't deny anything and, of course, doesn't rewrite history… even if sometimes we wish we had that kind of magic wand 🪄
Forgiveness brings movement, light, and possibility back to where there was darkness 🌑
And sometimes, it's impossible for us to forgive… because we're still too affected, too hurt, too wounded, too upset 😔
Forgiveness is one step among many… it will come at the right time.
I repeat, some life experiences, however brutal, have the power to transform our future, like an alchemist 🧙♀️
Transforming lead into gold and, after experiencing very difficult times, marveling at the beating of a butterfly's wings 🦋… quite simply…
We are all phoenixes 🐦🔥 capable of rising again and being reborn from our ashes… from what may have, one day, burned our wings.
It is with this 💫💭🪄 Magical Thinking 🪄💭💫, perhaps a little different, that I wish you a wonderful week, from the bottom of my heart ♥️
With… ✨✨✨ MIAM la Vie ✨✨✨ of course 😉
